Lt Gen Pratik Sharma Reviews Security Preparedness, Calls for Stronger Inter-Agency Coordination in Srinagar

Srinagar, October 4: Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, chaired a comprehensive Security Review and Coordination Meeting in Srinagar to assess the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness and coordination mechanisms among key stakeholders. The meeting reviewed inputs from various stakeholders and deliberated on measures to further strengthen security preparedness and operational effectiveness. Lt Gen Pratik Sharma emphasised the need for enhanced inter-agency synergy, real-time intelligence sharing and integrated coordination to strengthen operational readiness and facilitate rapid response to emerging security challenges. He stressed the importance of close coordination among all concerned agencies for ensuring seamless execution of joint operations and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the security mechanism. The meeting was attended by senior officials and representatives of key stakeholder agencies. ANB
