Omar Abdullah Insulting Parliament, Supreme Court, and Constitution to Please Pakistan: Chugh. Abdullah's Want to take back J&K to the 1990s era of militancy and terror : Chugh

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh today condemned the Omar Abdullah-led NC government for disrespecting the Constitution and Pillars of our democracy like the Parliament and the Supreme Court of India by bringing a resolution on Article 370 in the Assembly.

Chugh stated that this action also amounted to disregarding Parliament, which had already ratified the abrogation of Article 370. He criticized the political acumen of the Omar Abdullah government for attempting to reverse a decision approved by Parliament and upheld and stamped by the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

In a scathing attack on the NC government, Chugh called it a deeply anti-national move by the Omar Abdullah administration, which, he alleged, aims to further the agenda set by Pakistan’s ISI.

Chugh said the move clearly shows that the NC government is more focused on following Pakistan’s agenda rather than addressing the concerns of the common people. Expressing serious concern, Chugh described it as a “cheap political gimmick” by the Omar Abdullah government. He remarked that if Chief Minister Omar Abdullah were sincere, he would’ve prioritized the livelihoods of people of Jammu Kashmir rather than wasting time and taxpayers money in such acts of no use.

Chugh asserted that the BJP would not allow such divisive issues to dominate the discourse, as the party holds a strong mandate from the people of J&K who have endorsed the abrogation of Article 370.

According to Chugh, the Omar Abdullah government is intentionally attempting to disturb law and order in J&K by politicizing these issues and pushing the state back to the stone age.

Chugh also questioned the Congress Party over its stand on any such resolution meant to divide the Unity of the country and he also demanded clarification by the congress leadership on the same.

Chugh emphasized that the Modi government has already set a path for development and progress for the youth of J&K. He warned that it would be a grave misfortune if the Omar Abdullah government succeeded in taking J&K back to a dark era of the early 1990s marked by violence and unrest.
