Srinagar, 1 February 2026:The Press Information Bureau (PIB), Srinagar Region, has organised a media tour for journalists from Srinagar as part of its ongoing media outreach initiatives. The tour commenced today and will continue until 7 February 2026.
A 14-member press delegation, comprising journalists from Srinagar along with PIB officials, is participating in the tour. Prior to departure, Shri Qazi Salman, Director, PIB Srinagar, briefed the delegation in Srinagar, outlining the objectives of the visit and encouraging journalists to engage constructively during interactions at various locations. Shri Majid Pandit, Media & Communication Officer, PIB Srinagar, is leading the delegation as the conducting officer.
The five-day media tour to Kerala, scheduled from 2 to 6 February 2026, aims to provide regional journalists with firsthand exposure to innovative initiatives, developmental projects, and best practices being implemented in the state, thereby enhancing their understanding and reporting on national development narratives.
