Srinagar Police on Sunday organized a farewell ceremony at the District Police Headquarters to honour two retiring officials—Sub-Inspector Deedar Singh and Follower Qismat Jan—recognizing their years of dedicated service to the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Both officers were commended for their professionalism, integrity, and unwavering commitment throughout their careers. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, lauded the retirees for their valuable contributions to maintaining law and order in the district and extended his heartfelt best wishes for a healthy and fulfilling post-retirement life.
The ceremony was attended by DySP Headquarters Ms. Syed Sleet Shah, DySP DAR Nazir Ahmad, ADO Manzoor Ahmad, and other senior officers, who joined in expressing gratitude and admiration for the retiring personnel.
As a mark of recognition, SSP Srinagar presented Certificates of Appreciation to both officials, acknowledging their commendable service and significant role in strengthening policing over the years.
