SSP Jammu Calls for Integrity, Discipline and Professionalism Among Probationary Sub-Inspectors

JAMMU, September 2, 2026: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu Joginder Singh on Wednesday chaired an interaction with Probationary Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) of the 2024 batch presently posted in Jammu district, stressing the need for integrity, discipline and dedication in policing. All Zonal Superintendents of Police of Jammu district attended the meeting. During the interaction, the SSP underscored the importance of maintaining the highest standards of honesty, professional conduct and accountability while discharging official responsibilities. He called upon the PSIs to uphold the dignity of the police uniform and remain committed to serving the public with sincerity and a strong sense of responsibility. Joginder Singh cautioned that any instance of misconduct, negligence or compromise with professional and ethical standards would invite strict departmental action. The officers were also directed to remain accessible to the public and adopt fair, transparent and accountable policing practices to further strengthen public confidence in the police force. The meeting concluded with directions to all concerned officers to discharge their responsibilities with professionalism, dedication and a high standard of conduct in their respective assignments.
