SRINAGAR, JUNE 19: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, today chaired an introductory meeting with Sectoral and District Officers at the Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex, marking his first official interaction since assuming charge.
Addressing the officers, the DC urged them to uphold the highest standards of dedication and commitment in delivering public services and working towards the welfare of the people of Srinagar district.
He emphasized the timely and efficient execution of developmental works and effective implementation of government schemes and policies to ensure holistic progress across the district.
Stressing the importance of responsiveness and accessibility, the DC called upon officers to proactively address public grievances and cultivate prompt decision-making mechanisms. He also underlined the need for close inter-departmental coordination to ensure planned and integrated development.
Additionally, the DC highlighted the importance of maintaining punctuality, discipline, and accountability in all official conduct.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rifat Aftab, Additional Deputy Commissioner Aadil Fareed, RTO Kashmir Irfan Qazi, Chief Planning Officer Fayaz Ahmad Dar, General Manager DIC Hamida Akhtar, Superintending Engineers from PDD, PHE, R&B, and SMC, Chief Medical Officer, SDMs East and West, District Statistics and Evaluation Officer, CEO, Tehsildars, Executive Engineers, and other District and Sectoral Officers.
